Peepshow Art Gallery is a curated art space in Bruges, founded by artist and gallerist
Sophie Van den Berghe.
The gallery showcases painting, objects, and visual narratives in a poetic, intimate setting - both personal and collaborative.
In addition to its core program, the gallery welcomes guest artists whose practices enrich and expand our dialogue with contemporary art.

Exhibition 'DE MOEDER'
Artist Erlend Van LandeghemErlend Van Landeghem (b. 1965) studied painting at KASK Ghent.
He lives and works in Ronse. Since the mid-1980s, he has been developing a body of work encompassing sculptures, installations, drawings, and paintings.In his work, tradition intertwines with history, giving rise to a distinct and personal world. The artist fragments, combines, and experiments with materials such as paper, polyester, graphite, gouache, relief paint, and silicone. He explores and invites us into a realm where volumes and colours, shards and fractures intersect.In 'The Mother', Erlend Van Landeghem reflects on ageing and memory as an inner landscape where past and imagination merge. As the future narrows and the past expands, memory becomes a shifting archive—selecting, transforming, and reshaping experience into a space of retreat.
Across eight paintings, he evokes this world through transparent backgrounds, unexpected colour combinations, and fragments of sharp detail emerging from vagueness. What unfolds is a reality that feels both present and elusive—familiar, yet never fully real.Baudolino
Inspired by Baudolino by Umberto Eco, this series of silicone sculptures explores fluid identity and fiction. Like the novel’s protagonist, who navigates multiple possible selves, Van Landeghem’s figures resist fixed meaning.
Fragile porcelain figurines are enveloped in grotesque silicone forms—ornamental, ambiguous, and ironic. What emerges is a constructed identity: a mask, or perhaps even a synthetic lie.The exhibition will be on view at Peepshow Gallery
